The Team


Colorado Custom timber builder companyDonald Mark Rasmussen – President/ Owner has been in the framing business since 1973. He worked as an Apprentice Carpenter until he earned his Journeyman’s Card from the Carpenters Union in 1979. He has also worked as a Carpenter Foreman and oversaw all operations for a framing company with over 500 employees. Since 1994, he has been President of StraitLine Framing Co. Inc. He oversees all estimating for StraitLine and oversees the management team.

Donovan Rasmussen – VP / Owner As a Project Manager, not only do I run my own projects, but in conjunction our other Project Managers, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of our projects. Each project has its own Foreman who is responsible for the day to day functions. Between Project Managers and onsite Foreman, together we ensure all of our client’s needs are met.

Bob Burns – Sales and Marketing Bob began his sales career in 1978 behind the counter of a full service lumberyard in New York. After a six year break to attend college, he returned to the industry and has been in sales and marketing ever since. Bob’s association with Straitline started in the 90′s through sales and he is extremely excited to become a part of the Straitline family.

Wes Trout – Foreman provides 30 years’ experience in the construction field, housing and light commercial framing with 7 years’ experience as a Foreman with StraitLine Framing. Wes has now taken on the responsibility of Timber Foreman.
